santa stopped by...

one of our fav moments...we were letting the kids pick thru stockings, etc.. brix hopped on his scooter to take it for a spin and came across THIS..."the red rider bb gun" of this christmas..his 4WHEELER! ..he took a double take & almost literally hopped from the scooter to the 4wheeler!

best 'mia' moment..her most declared request was a "big bike with no training wheels" all the santa gifts get opened & no bike..all papaloo gifts get opened...no bike.. so as we're sitting around enjoying the lull of the aftershock, papaloo asks mia if theres anything she wanted & didn't get? "bike w/no training wheels" so as he walks toward the door, he tells her 'ya know, sometimes things might fall off santas sleigh' and sure enough would you believe, leaned up against our house was a box..and can you guess what was inside?

a million traditions crammed into 30 days!...

our 4th (& final!) visit to santa...this was on our way to see the ROCKETTES.. kids loved the show but the neatest part was, as we were leaving, we saw one of the rockettes leaving and she stopped to talk to mia and sign her program...

we started to snap this picture of knox...mia had set him up on the couch beside her baby doll and knox tipped over on the doll, making it look like he was cuddling with the doll..as we were taking the pic, m & b hopped in!

here's little knox weighing in at 14lbs (24th %) and 25.5 inches (67%)...doc said all is looking great at his 4 month checkup (4 months already??!!)

here's mia with her dance buddies. they hopped around to 3 different nursing homes last saturday dancing their little toes off...i'm sure all the old folks really had no idea who that mr. grinch was that song kept talking about...

mia's preschool christmas program

she was beyond excited for this day...for the past few years, we've come to watch friends in this program and she often asks when she would get to be on the stage... despite her somber face, she was thrilled
