baby KNOX!!

he's here!! little knox has arrived! here are just a few of his newborn pix....we showed up for a routine doc appt on monday and my amniotic fluid was low so we checked into hospital where they broke my water around 6pm and 5 hours later, just seconds before midnite, he was born.
it was a very calm delivery and we were so glad mia, my sister, meg meg and my mother in law got to be in the room. what an amazing moment! he's healthy in every way and we're so glad to have him!

tick....tick....tick....tick....

so here we are....waiting...still dialated to 1cm...at our last visit, the ultrasound showed that the cord has unwrapped from his neck....many ask if i'm miserable and tired of waiting...and the answer is no...i've prayed for this baby to be born at the perfect time and i believe he will...with each child i've had to choose to trust God...with mia, my heart ached because she wouldn't have a maternal grandmother..and would i be shortchanged because i wouldn't have the companionship and advice from my mom thruout my pregnancy and as i learned all the 'how to's ' of a newborn...with braxton, the delivery was so intense and dangerous that i often think 'God cornered me into trusting Him' because my only other option was to give up what i was believing for (a healthy, lively baby..naturally) so i guess He reminds me of the successes of trusting Him and the joy that comes as i see how He provides. so now the best and the worst part...we wait! :)

...and for fun...the reoccuring question is WHO will this baby look like?? mia is very much my 'mini me' and braxton is brock's (and more so, brock's dad) so the anticipation to see him is so thrilling...sure, we prob won't be able to tell right away, but how fun as we wait on this suprise... i've tried to find pix that do the similarities justice...
