a lil of this & that..

we had a scare sunday nite when the kids were pushing baby knox in stroller..he wasnt buckled in and he tipped out falling on his head... we were out on campus and everyone around just kinda froze to see if he was ok... after many phone calls to our doc and nurse friends, we opted to skip the ER and take the doc's advice to wake him every 2 hours that nite to make sure he didn't have a concussion (sp??).. i of course worried about his brain swelling or something far off like that but he survived and doesnt seem phased a bit.

we've been keeping busy with our daily doings and i must say i'm so proud at how m & b have adjusted. i hear all sorts of horror stories of sibling jealousy but so far we havent a sign of it...fingers crossed...but the biggest difference i've noticed in them is how well they play with eachother if i just leave them alone... this morning they entertained themselves till 2 oclock when they finally realized they were hungry and, for that, they needed me :) knox seems to have grown leaps just yesterday...in the past 2 days he's dropped us a few rare smiles and i just can't say enough how grateful i am that we have 3 healthy babies...

last weekend we surprised the kids with ' a day out with Thomas'... eavesdropper (sp??) mia found out beforehand, but brax was beyond delighted to see trains every where he looked...

here they are on the 'percy' train...we got a 30 minute train ride that took us thru downtown nashville...the train certainly smelled like the 1950's...and it was quite educational for us all as we passed homeless tents...

once again...catching up :)

so we're getting brock's hair cut and mia asks april if she'll cut her hair...up to this point, i've cut it (yeah...call me cheap)..but mia has been asking for a while for a "reeeeaaal haircut" so she hopped on up and told her to cut it to her shoulders...and i didn't even have my camera for her 'before' shot..but here's the after...
we're officially back in dance class...here's the first day (well, after class lined up with her buddy reagan) she was hyped up and doing some goofy move...? braxton often crashes class and busts a move...here's mia ushering him out..

back to school... braxton and i both cried...he wanted to stay with her and i secretly wanted her to stay with us.... :)

and finally a few pix from last weeks wedding...we all had our characatures drawn... the guy totally got mia's skeptical eyes...brax was hilarious...i didnt think he'd sit still for it but he did...with his nose scrunched and giggling with excitement the whole time...

catching up...

i can't believe i haven't put more pix up before now! it seems like in all my spare time, i've been trying to catch up on other things...so here is a look at the past 2 weeks...geez, 2 weeks! ...he is still so tiny... we took him for his 3 week check up yesterday and he's weighing in at 8lb 3oz.... sleep is still scattered for us but, for now, i'm ok with that... just in the past 2 days, he's began to wake for an hour or so at a time, and will just stare at us...very sweet.

m &b are doing great with him...mia sits and gushes over him ALMOST as much as i do...as you'll see from one of the pix, she's using her babydoll carseat for knox...she really is a help to hold him while i do dishes, etc...brix is touch and go...staying true to a 2 year old's attention span, he 'holds' him for about 12 seconds, pops him a kiss, and then hunts down the nearest toy with wheels...i couldn't have asked for it to be any different..
