playing catchup

a few from nashville half marathon... i think i was yelling to braxton as i came up on the finish...

brock usually is not the greatest photographer but i thought this one that he snapped of my dad & kiddos while i was running turned out great

the night before was stormy with stronger storms predicted to move in around noon...i had wafered back & forth the night before whether or not to even run.. didn't want to get stuck in the midst of 30 thousand people outside with a tornado warning but with the registration fee looming over my head, we went & in this pic, rain was just starting to drizzle as we got to the car...by the time we got home, it made for *perfect* nap weather :)

brock's birthday

here's a few pix from brock's bday! we went out to the new greenway in clarksville, which was far more beautiful than i expected! we were literally 10 feet from this owl & later heard that a friend ran smack into a copperhead on this same trail, same day... ugh! after brock grilled his own birthday dinner (i offered... :) he opened those ugly, ugly shoes that he just loves (vibram 5 fingers- look like gloves for feet..supposed to be best for workouts??) a great day for a great guy!

murfreesboro greenway..

we made a trip to the boro last week to see our tax guy...it was nice, so we stopped by the greenway...

took these while b was doing our tax return..

brix was thrilled..literally 2 minutes after he was on these tracks the train came by... he was a little unsure because he could feel the ground vibrating, but talked about it the rest of the day..

a clear sign my children are forever scarred from my excessive camera snappin...mia saw the fence post & set herself up for this pic :)
