here's a few pix of our NEW YEARS in the mountains... this idea all came about laaaaate one nite & none of us thought we'd go thru with it but we did & we all had a blast! i don't think we slept much & 'peace & quiet' was a nice idea but not much of a reality! the cabin was PERFECT! & we've already booked it for next year...

one of my fav's from the trip.. all the kiddos were downstairs & brix 'matter of factly' comes up the stairs & lays down just like this...for a good 2 minutes..hops up & right back downstairs into the action...

christmas morning...

knox couldn't decide between the sucker or the lamb...& i was most excited to give brix this watch..he spotted it at gap a while back & had such a good attitude when i told him 'no we couldnt get it'..he cheerfully said "oh well, i bet i'll get a watch one day" (fyi: not all of his dissapointments are handled this way:)



the looong xmas day road trip to nanny's...it took us hours to get home because the roads were getting slicker & slicker from the sleet..people were sliding off left & right...


not sure if its a 'red rider' but it is a bbgun... oh darn, we 'forgot' it in mississippi...


while deer hunting with papoo this time, a wild hog was in the wrong place at the wrong time..this thing was so ugly that it took a whole lotta convincing just to get brix on the 4wheeler with it.. he kept saying "'i'll get on, but does it have legs on the other side, too??"
