here we go...

well as most of you know, one more month & we'll be on our way back to the boro...when we moved here almost 5 years ago, it crushed me to leave murfreesboro but now after being in clarksville, i think it's even sadder to leave here...we bought 4 acres with plans to build this summer, i've fallen in love with our kids schools & teachers, i adore our neighbors, & i've made such great friends here that leaving is almost all bitter, no sweet... we've made a life here & i must say i have no major complaints... i think in the back of our minds, brock & i both knew we'd end up back in m'boro one day tho & when the opportunity came for him at the church in boro, well it just kinda felt right...his goal when he moved here was to help get this church up & going (now, it's nearing 1000) & to get some sort of campus ministry started @ austin peay univ. (now, it's thriving as largest one there & with great guys who played fball for apsu, excited & willing to take it over, it was just a good time to transition out..)

with that said, as we kinda took the 'leap of faith' to uproot our entire lives, we've seen it happen at amazing speed & ease... we put our house on the market & 3 days later, we sold it...& for more than we expected! the buyers agent told our agent "this just really must be meant to be, because they had an offer on its way to another home, & the night before they found ours online & next day bought it! whats even better is they requested to close @ the end of may which is exactly what we were hoping for..school is out may 24 & we leave for ms first week in june so the timing was perfect! we've found a home that we love in the boro..it's right outside of town, but still in a neighborhood, & only 30min from center hill lake & are closing on it the exact same day... i'm thrilled with the preschool that we've found for brix & really know nothing about the school mia is zoned for other than it's where aaron tippin's kids go lol

with this said, i'm completely overwhelmed at the process ahead of us (new job for brock, new(yes, new) city, new schools, new home to unpack, old home to pack up, moving day(yikes!), switching medical/dental/school records, finding a pediatrician we love, details for a destin & a disney trip this summer, weeks in MS, 3 summer birthdays to plan & make very special, & many other unknowns! but although i should be short tempered & stressed, i don't feel that way at all.. i feel very much at peace ("be anxious for nothing, in evthing with prayer & petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God& the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts & your minds in Christ Jesus") & am even slightly excited to conquer each battle ahead :) so au revoir sunny slope drive & hello new adventure!

brock's bday...

ok so i know i put the blog world to shame... a month is way too long between posts but oh well..better late than never! :) so in my attempt to catch up i'll try to post everyday this week! here's a couple from brocks bday on the 16th..his parents came in town...we got to take an early morning run together since they were here with kids, after dance practice in smyrna, we just hung around boro...these from carabbas are my fav.. our kiddos get little sleep when they come in town because we let them stay up to get all the time with them they can, so here's knox just way beyond his awake limit...
