baby #3!

well, here ya go! the first picture of the new little one on the way! the baby is laying within the black circle- back down, if you look closely you can see the white line & ridges of it's spine..the head on the right side, legs on the left...you can see the eye socket and it looks like it's hand is in it's mouth. AMAZING! i told my doctor i don't care how many times you see this, it is still just incredible! that something can be made out of nothing. AWESOME! we are so excited.

at our first visit, they took my bloodwork and my progesterone came back extremely low. progesterone is the hormone that maintains the pregnancy and without it, miscarraige is inevitable. so immediatly i started taking progest. supplement and that was 5 weeks ago so hopefully we're in the clear. we had the same issue with brax & he turned out fine (ok, a little on the wild side :) but doc said baby is looking good..we saw a strong heartbeat and baby measures about 3 inches. all the major organs are formed and the voice box is now functioning. so AMAZING! i've been extremely exhausted lately but other than that, i feel good. just grateful my body knows what to do. mia declared the other day that baby would be born on a monday and she is excited about being "a big sister TWO times!"
